More Sport, Less Injury: United Learning And Podium Analytics Join forces

  • On this World Teachers' Day, United Learning and Podium Analytics have announced a partnership aiming to streamline the management of sports injuries across its schools.

At the heart of this collaboration is the SportSmart app, designed to help teachers and coaches in logging, tracking, and managing students' injuries and participation efficiently. It's a step towards a more systematic approach to injury management, ensuring students can return to the sports they love safely post-injury.

It's time to level the playing field in sports injury management, extending the sophisticated tools and knowledge, once reserved for elite sports levels, to the grassroots. This is about creating a supportive environment where students can continue playing the sports they love without undue risk.

The expansion of SportSmart into United Learning schools is a positive stride in ensuring safer sporting environments and we hope to see such collaborations continue to expand to all schools and clubs, across the UK.

By creating a streamlined approach, we can ensure that the response to injury is both research-led and consistent across schools and clubs. This is a vital step to ensure our youth can continue playing the sports they love, for longer.

The end goal is simple: more sport, less injury. It's a balance that's crucial for nurturing a healthy, active generation. As we celebrate World Teachers' Day, this partnership stands as a testament to the importance of providing teachers and coaches with the resources they need to uphold safety and encourage active participation in sports.
