Here are a selection of our privacy notices which will apply depending on our relationship with you and how you interact with Podium. 

• General – this sets out a general Privacy Notice for how Podium may use your information, such as when you visit our website or communicate with us.
• SportSmart Player and Pupil Privacy Notice – this sets out how your information is used by Podium where it is uploaded to SportSmart by your school or club.
• SportSmart User Privacy Notice – this sets out how your information is used where you create a profile to use the SportSmart resources.  
• Example: Specific Research Project – this is an example that sets out how your information may be used where you participate in a Podium research project.

We are currently working on creating a range of additional resources to help people better understand how Podium Analytics uses personal data. 

Our additional resources will include informative guides, detailed FAQs, and video content, all of which will be designed to ensure openness and transparency.

You have a number of legal rights in respect of your information. These rights include:

Right to be informed about how your information is processed: We hope the information within the Privacy Notice has informed you as to how we process your personal data but please contact us if there is any additional information you require. 

Right to access any personal data held about you: You have the right to see the personal information we hold about you. This is called a Data Subject Access Request. You can request a copy of any personal information that we hold about you by contacting us.

We will require proof of identity and proof of authority if the request comes from someone other than the person whose data we are asked to provide.  

Right to withdraw consent: Where you have provided your consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time. 

Right to have your data rectified if it is inaccurate: If we do hold information about you, you can ask us to correct or amend any inaccurate or incomplete information.

Right to have your data erased (except if there is a valid lawful reason to retain it): You have the right to request the deletion of your information in advance of our standard retention periods

Right to have your information restricted or blocked from processing: If you object to processing, we will restrict the processing of your information for the purpose to which you are objecting whilst we review your objection.

Right of portability of your personal data: Where you have provided personal data to us electronically, you may be entitled to require us to provide that data to you electronically or to transmit it to another organisation.

Right to object to the processing of your personal data: You have the right to object to our processing of your personal data in certain circumstances depending on the purpose of processing the data and on the lawful basis for processing.

Please note, these rights may be limited in some scenarios, such as where relevant exemptions are included in both the UK GDPR and in the Data Protection Act 2018. We will inform you of relevant exemptions we rely on when responding to any request you make.
