Northampton Academy is an 'Outstanding' school (Ofsted 2023), and we serve the needs of our 1700 students, their families and the local community. We are a thriving, vibrant, welcoming and inclusive 11-18 Academy. Although we are oversubscribed, we are non-selective.

We provide an education with character, encompassing our core values of Respect, Determination and Ambition alongside our character values of Tolerance and Integrity, which are central to our decision-making. We ensure that these values run through our policies, appointments and interactions with our young people.

We are successful at Key Stage 4 and 5 in both attainment and progress terms and have excellent progression rates to University. Many of our students go to Oxbridge and Russell Group Universities.

We pride ourselves on communication. Replies to parents are usually the same day and always within two working days, utilising our strong pastoral structure.
