Donald Mackenzie of CVC joins Podium Analytics as Trustee

2 December 2021 – Podium Analytics (“Podium”), the NGO and charity founded by Ron Dennis CBE and committed to reducing injury in sport, has appointed Donald Mackenzie of CVC Capital Partners ("CVC") as a Trustee.

He joins Peter Hamlyn, Robin Fenwick and Kristina Murrin CBE on Podium’s Board of Trustees, which is chaired by Ron Dennis CBE, Founder of Podium and former Chair and CEO of the McLaren Technology Group.

Donald is Co-Founder and Co-Chair of CVC, a world leader in private equity and credit, and one of the world’s most significant private equity investors in sports-related businesses. Podium has already welcomed significant founding funding from CVC Funds and CVC Foundation, alongside the Dreamchasing Foundation.

Commenting on his appointment, Donald Mackenzie said: “I am honoured to be appointed to the Board of Trustees at the start of Podium’s journey. I have been deeply impressed by its bold mission of reducing the incidence and impact of sports injury in young people, a fundamental issue which has been overlooked until now, and am very much looking forward to working with Ron and fellow Board members.”
